To celebrate the Halloween season, Hailey has been rocking some super shiny (almost liquid-like) midnight black nails—which are a super chic option if you want a subtle tribute to the pumpkin-themed holiday, as opposed to a full-on horror movie depicture on your nails.

How to replicate the look in your own homeYou can recreate this look using the same techniques as Donut nails. It’s as easy as applying a base coat and then a light shade. These are both made of the same color, but with some shimmery chrome dust. This creates a slight opaque look that recalls lemon-flavored sweets or slightly melted lemon tart.
How to replicate the look in your own home For the rest of your nail colors, we recommend using a transparent base color. This will help prevent streakiness, and the colors pop. Follow up with your chrome powder and make sure you cure your gels properly—you don’t know want this yellow to smudge!

Strawberry Glazed Nails
Strawberry-Glazed nails look natural, just like donut nails. They look just like normal nails but are better. They are perfect for those who don’t like bright and bold nail designs. This seems to be Hailey’s daily go-to, along with the original Glazed.
Instead of using OPI’s shade ‘Funny Bunny’ which is the sheer white used for Hailey’s Met Gala nails, use one with more of a pink hue—like OPI’s Bubble Bath. The result will be a pinkish-jello-like glaze you can use on your fingers. Finally, sprinkle pearly chrome dust on top.

HOW TO SAKE YOUR NAILS SO HAILY BIEBER
Saffron offers simple tips on how to keep your Hailey Bieber nails looking great at home.
Saffron suggests that you first prepare your nails with white vinegar. This will remove any excess oil. Saffron recommends that your nails be completely dried before you apply your basecoat. “When nail polish is applied to wet nails, moisture is trapped. Once the nails begin to dry, the trapped moisture needs to escape so it begins to separate the polish from the nail, making them more susceptible to chips.”

Saffron has some helpful tips that will keep your manicure looking amazing. “A common misconception is that once you apply a topcoat, you’re good to go for the foreseeable future, however, this certainly isn’t the case.
“You should reapply your topcoat every 2 to 3 days for the best results. Believe me when I say you’ll thank me!”
Speaking of chips, she also adds that as soon as you spot a chip, it’s damage control time—”The sooner you restore your nails, the longer-lasting they’ll be. After spotting the chip, it’s easy to just keep peeping our nails.
“So make sure to fix your chip as soon as you spot it by applying the same color in enough thin layers that it disappears before that all-important topcoat again.”
Also, avoid painting your cuticles. ‘breaks the seal between your polish and nail’—meaning once your polish starts to peel, there’s no stopping it.
