The video can be viewed here Real Housewives of Atlanta, you’ll know that Sunday’s season 14 finale was a full-circle moment for Shereé Whitfield and her infamous brand She by Shereé.
The long-anticipated and highly memeable lifestyle brand, Lifestyle Brand 14 Years Ago was created. The brand finally saw its first public appearance in the February flashy fashion fashion show. Bravo even had Shereé’s friend Dwight Eubanks, who declared her first fashion showSeason 1 of the TV series. RHOA, “dreadful…fashion show with no fashions,”He will be able to comment on the event from the audience.
For the record, he approved the second showing, Shereé told Women’s HealthExclusive interview
“He came up to me after and told me you need to be in Paris! In New York!” Shereé told WH. “But of course, that got edited out.”
The finale was intense and fans were left wondering how our girls would do it this time. Kenya Moore, a cast member, sparked doubts about the heights of the models. Samples had been missing from the event until the very end. And then….the 20+ piece collection debuted to a packed house.
Faster than the Bravo countdown clock announced. SheByShereé.comWas Finally Live and devoted fans could purchase the clothes, but the website crashed. The backlash began nearly immediately.
Fans complained about the high prices. Many others pointed out the striking similarities to Brands that are less expensive.
On Friday, September 9th, it seemed the site had hit another snafu, as visitors were prompted with another message from Team Shereé. “PARDON OUR PROGRESS!”You can read it as follows: “IT WAS A FULL HOUSE!”
Melanie Sanders, who represents Shereé, said the site is down temporarily while designers work to “freshen up its new home.”
“The original hosting site just truly could not handle that level of site traffic,” Melanie wrote to Women’s Health Send an email. “They failed us miserably.”
Don’t be alarmed, however. However, the rep assured that SheByShereé.comFor the second part of the series, we would have everything working again RHOAReunion on Sunday (And Shereé promises will that the reunion will be spicy!)
Just before the collection launched, Shereé sat down with Women’s Health Clap back at critics.
Shereé thinks that her website crashing is actually a good thing.
“The frustrating thing is when I hired them to do the website, I knew there would be an influx of people coming to the website for the finale. They’ve been coming to SheByShereé.com for months,”She elaborated.
Shereé asked her web designers if the infrastructure could handle 200,000 to 300,000 guests at once, and she was told the bandwidth could take that.
“This is just another example of over-promising and underdelivering,” said Shereé. “But I am so grateful. I stand in prayer; I have chills even thinking about how many people are still interested at this time.”
Elle added: “To continue to have the website crash…it sounds bad, but it’s actually a good thing.”
What is She by Shereé?
This is a line that I like. RHOA folklore. In Season 1, which aired in 2008, viewers meet Shereé as she is going through a divorce with her ex-husband and former NFL star Bob Whitfield.
At the time, Shereé was operating “one of the hottest boutiques”Atlanta. To take care her children, she needed to close the shop.
The goal of her venture was to start her own label and show a fashion collection. Problem? The garments weren’t ready on time. After a bit of a frenzy, Shereé held an event where she showcased sketches of her designs instead. The aforementioned “fashion show with no fashions.”
Shereé took a break for a bit—she needed time to work on her Chateau after all—but was asked about her line again at the season 10 reunion. Andy Cohen asked Shereé what happened to She by Shereé, to which she responded, puzzlingly, “joggers.”
When asked when the line would be available for purchase, Shereé said, “September. Spring/Summer,”This is one of my favorite housewives videos.
YouTube has been used to import this content. This content may also be available in a different format.
Shereé is in on the joke and said she used all the memes to her advantage.
“I get so many messages from people in similar situations, maybe not in fashion, but have had a dream that’s not happening,” said Shereé. “And I tell them to stay resilient and keep fighting as I did.”
Where can I buy She by Shereé?
Shereé is asking fans for a bit more patience. She says Her websiteBy Sunday evening, it will be fully functional.
“I will not sleep until this is figured out,”They told her WH. She will release five to six new pieces each three to four week until her complete collection of 20+ pieces is released. Here’s a peek from IG:
Did Shereé copy Shein?
I asked Shereé about this, and she said she hadn’t seen the reports but noted that other artists’ work often inspires fashion.
Poll has imported this content. This content might be accessible in another format.
“I have a lot of people on a lot of websites looking at products and saying, ‘Ooh, I like that, I’m inspired by that,’”Sie said. “Then you take that and put your own spin on it.”
Shereé said she had never seen the Shein or Amazon look-alikes before.
Why are we here? She by Shereé so expensive?
“The majority of my pieces are custom,” Shereé explained. “Everything you saw on the runway was custom.”
A note on the price: Items from Shereé’s site cost around $130, while a similar Shein setYou can buy retail for as low as $22. But you have to pay for quality, says Shereé.
“Everyone who follows Shereé Whitfield knows that everything I do is quality,”Sie said. “I am quality.”
But she does point out one problem: Sheree’s staff mixed up the description on one of her T-shirts. Shereé’s staff tagged the item at more than $100, but didn’t note that it was hand-signed. An unsigned shirt would cost far less, Shereé explained.
“I can’t cheapen myself and my time,”Sie said. “It’s my signature!”
Consider the collection Fit by Shereé
When she’s not building elaborate homes or fashion brands, Shereé is hitting the gym to stay fit and keep calm, she said. She strongly believes in strength training and plyometrics.
“That’s my me time,”Sie said. “It’s so important.” She designed her clothing with movement in in mind and has spent time knowing what works and what doesn’t.
Keep watching for drama in the future RHOAPart 2 of the reunion will take place on Sunday September 11th.
